It's my birthday and also the 10th anniversary of Connect With A Wish (CWW)! I'm asking you to help me celebrate and raise money to support CWW. I started volunteering with CWW over 8 years ago. The charity has grown immensely in the past decade as we have recognized more needs of this underserved population.

CWW started out by granting wishes to children in foster care like dance lessons or a gym membership. Now, every child in foster care in Virginia Beach receives a birthday cake and a present from CWW. In addition, CWW sponsors a Back to School drive, coat drive, holiday party, prom event, foster parent wellness event, and youth groups. Our newest programs support youth aging out of foster care to find employment or pursue higher education via our Supporting Success and Connect to Careers programs.
