About the Events:

Shining the Light on Offshore Wind Energy Forum - Illuminating the Environmental, Economic and Community Impacts

Join key environmental advocates and industry experts for a deep dive into the impacts of offshore wind energy development on our region. Scheduled on November 9th in Cayucos at Swallow Creek Ranch from 1:00pm - 5:00pm, this event will feature keynote speeches and interactive sessions, aiming to equip our community with the knowledge to advocate against these developments, ensuring sustainable development that respects our local heritage and environment. Save Our Seas (S.O.S.) 2025

Celebrate our coastal heritage with a day of music, art, and inspiration. This event will feature performances by local musicians, live auctions, and raffles, with proceeds directly supporting our efforts to preserve the coastal environment and community integrity from the encroaching offshore wind energy developments.

Billboard Campaign:

Our new billboard will feature a powerful image of otters at play in their natural coastal habitat, symbolizing the vibrant life that thrives along our shores. This powerful visual contrast aims to highlight the potential threats posed by the offshore wind development. Positioned prominently on Highway 1, this campaign is designed to provoke thought and inspire action among both residents and visitors by illustrating what could be lost if industrial development is allowed to proceed unchecked
