Storm was taken to the Peninsula Humane society by a spiteful neighbor in Menlo Park. Storm belongs to Alexis and her children. While at PHS, Storm delivered her babies early. PHS demaned $1571 for Alexis to get her cat back - this includes emergency medical care that Storm received while there. With no where to turn, Alexis reached out for help on Next Door.

Time was of the essence, if Alexis could not pay, she would never see her cat Storm again. Pink Paws knew we could help by upfronting this fee but we also know we can't afford to pay this for Storm. We are a very small rescue that counts on donations from the public.

The fee was paid on March 24th and now Storm and her babies are home safe with Alexis and her family. Pink Paws will help the family spay and neuter everyone and help find great homes for the kittens when they are ready.

Any money received over the fundraising goal will go direct to Alexis in the form of food/medical and cat supplies for Storm and her kittens. When the kittens are old enough, they will be spayed & neutered and adopted out to loving homes. Storm will get spayed and live the rest of her days as an indoor only cat.
