Location: Wheeler Regional YMCA. 149 Farmington Ave. Plainville, CT

Room: Meeting room inside the main entrance, large room on right

Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm

Thursday, January 30th

Thursday, February 27th

Thursday, March 27th

Thursday, April 24th

Thursday, May 29th

Cost: The cost for the five sessions is $25, ensuring access for everyone. However, if you are in a position to pay more, any additional contribution would be greatly appreciated and help support others who may be in need.  If you do not attend a session, no refunds are available. 

Agenda:

Class exercise

Individualized circuit training for upper and lower body

High-intensity upper-body task practice

Group social activity

Requirements:

Age 14 years or older

Can walk safely with or without an assistive device 

If using a wheelchair, you can propel yourself safely from place to place

Independent using the bathroom or have a family/friend/aide to assist you to the bathroom

Independent traveling to and from your vehicle or have family/friend/aide to assist you

No recent seizures, no uncontrolled blood pressure, no uncontrolled heart condition 

Willing and able to tolerate at least two hours of exercise

Instructors:

Up to 10 participants per session. 

One class instructor and one assistant
