BirdsCaribbean is my favorite group. The Caribeean is home to many endemic bird species, and they face many threats due to the growth of high-impact tourism, hurricanes, and other problems related to human impacts and climate change. BirdsCaribbean brings hundreds of people together from dozens of islands to better understand and conserve Caribbean birds and to support everyone who cares about these issues.

The Caribbean islands, which host endemics, residents and migrants, are so important for birds, plus you work with kids, local communities and partners empowering them to take care of the birds, which is vital. So many birders are into their lists and tallying up how many species they’ve seen. What about conserving them, including where they live? It’s vital that we all give back to save birds and nature, which bring us so much joy and are essential for our planet's health.
