The Maine 1901 Surry Chapter is hosting this outdoor event to benefit The Gatherings community center. Basic attendance costs $5, plus $10 for pork from a pig roast and $10 to participate in a Washer Toss tournament. Everyone is encouraged to bring side dishes, deserts, beverages and grillables to have with or without the pork. Camp chairs are encouraged too. Free lawn games will be available. A limited number of tickets (100 max for pork) will be available and should be purchased by August 13th. The tournament is played in teams of two, and the winners get bragging rights plus a homemade trophy to keep until the next tournament. Winners from the preceding three tournaments have each added something to the trophy.
