On behalf of the Campers, Staff, and Board Members of Summer Stars Camp for the Performing Arts, thank you very much for your generous donation to support our program. The opportunities we give our campers are valued, as their life circumstances don’t provide many breaks for these young people. You are clearly making a difference.

During our session in August, “Chasing Dreams” was our inspiring theme. Over one extraordinary week, 125 young people came together to dream big, take creative risks, and believe that their dreams are worth chasing. We asked our campers what they dream about. Here’s what they told us:

become a nurse
start directing movies
start a theatre company
try new things
graduate and become a surgeon for kids
put my music out there and start directing movies
I saw a former dancer and thought — that could be me
walk into school with confidence
be a singer / backup singer
publish books that sell
climb Mt. Everest

Each of these dreams is a spark that will create a bright future— and your support is the light that keeps it burning. Thank you for helping us create a place where young people can believe in themselves, where art becomes a language of hope, and where courage begins to grow.
