My name is Marcus Carden.

I'm an adult and pediatric hematologist and have spent over 10 years dedicated to improving the lives of people living with sickle cell disease through research in the academic and pharmaceutical industry settings.  Along the way, I have been incredibly fortunate to go to some amazing places and meet so many great and inspirational people.  I'm really looking forward to hiking with this amazing crew among the beautiful peaks of Colorado, right where I lived after college and decided to go into medicine in order to serve people with significant unmet need and change the world for the better.  I am excited to take my passion to the next level and join this team to raise awareness and funds for diagnosing and treating individuals with sickle cell disease across the globe.
