I was born in Kharkiv Ukraine and I still consider Ukraine a sort of home. As the war in Ukraine stretches through its 2nd year, the impact on the defenders and civilians in harms way continues to compound. I hear this from my friends and family in Ukraine - many people are unable to leave and many want to stay and defend their home.
