Hello!
I’m looking forward to meeting you and talking about Sunshine Week — both Freedom of Information and Open Meetings law. I’m especially interested in learning about your particular interests and goals in participating in this workshop.
In order to prepare and ensure I meet your expectations, it would be helpful if you could answer a few quick questions via this form.

I’d also ask you to do a little pre-reading of some examples we’ll be drawing on during interactive portions of the workshop. If you can find some time to read these in advance, it will greatly enhance our conversation during the workshop:

Getting there
The workshop will take place at Kalamazoo Public Library's Central Branch. We'll meet in the Van Deusen Room, which is located on the third floor. Here's a link to get Google Maps directions, and here's the library address:

Parking
Metered parking is free on Saturdays, so if you can snag a spot on the surrounding streets, you're set. The one exception are the metered spots on the Kalamazoo Mall; paid parking is enforced till 8 p.m. on Saturdays.
The surface parking lot (Lot 13) just south of the library might have some spots. It costs $1 for two hours.
