Ashley is a Black trans woman asylum seeker from the island of Guanaja Bay in the Caribbean, an island currently colonized by the Honduran State. She is a survivor of transphobic physical injuries by gangs, domestic abuse, family abuse, homelessness, solitary confinement in ICE detention and other ICE abuses, border violence, and more. Help her to pay rent and buy food while she gets back on her feet after dealing with houslessness and abuse during the pandemic. Help her pay for reconstruction surgery to recover from her physical attacks. Ashley is passionate about her island's history and culture, spirituality and community, and she dreams of becoming a professional chef.
