Thank you so much for supporting Danbury Student and Business Connection (DSABC). This support will allow us to maintain and grow our much-needed one-on-one mentoring program in Danbury Public Schools. No goods or services were provided by DSABC in exchange for this donation.

Mentoring is a critical intervention that can help students with the rising levels of anxiety and disconnection they face at an exponential level. A positive, caring adult that consistently shows up and cares has been proven to increase a mentee’s grades, trust in their peers and other adults, and has led them to build confidence in themselves and their abilities. As shared by our students in our annual survey, 98% liked having a mentor and many have reported that their mentor has helped them set goals and deal with problems they face. With the district of Danbury reaching nearly 13,000 students, DSABC is committed to growing our program to provide more mentors as well as coordinate career readiness programs to support students as they get ready for the workforce.

DSABC continues to thrive through the ongoing commitment of businesses and individuals in our community that provide support through volunteerism and financial resources. We are grateful for your support of our mission to help Danbury Public School students build confidence and character to reach their highest potential.

Thank you for your dedication to DSABC. If you have any questions regarding DSABC, please feel free to call me at (203) 885-8994 or email me at alexis@dsabcmentors.org.

With gratitude,

Alexis Koukos
