Giving Tuesday
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join the Nashville African American Wind Symphony, Inc. (NAAWS) as we celebrate five years of purpose, impact, and powerful music-making. Since our founding in 2020, NAAWS has remained committed to our E.P.I.C.C. mission—to Educate, Inspire, Create, and Cultivate Change—through transformative programming and culturally rooted symphonic excellence.
As we enter this milestone year, we’re launching a Giving Tuesday goal of $2,500 to help strengthen the programs that define our work and broaden opportunities for African American musicians across our community.
Your gift directly supports:
- The Composer-in-Residence Initiative – uplifting African American composers and expanding the wind band repertoire with culturally rich, original works.
- The Youth Honor Band – providing young musicians with mentorship, training, and high-level performance experiences.
- Signature Community Performances – including our Juneteenth Concert, A Magical Christmas Benefit Concert, and The Classical Cookout, which bring music, culture, and connection to audiences across Nashville.
For five years, NAAWS has been a home for creativity, cultural pride, and musical excellence—and with your support, we will continue to grow this legacy for years to come.
Help us reach our $2,500 goal and make an E.P.I.C.C. impact this Giving Tuesday. Together, we can uplift artists, inspire communities, and cultivate change—one powerful note at a time.
