Thank you for supporting the Edward J. Madden Open Hearts Camp!

Since 1961, the Open Hearts Camp has been a home away from home in the Berkshires of Massachusetts for children and teens who have had heart surgery and procedures to enjoy summer camp fun. From S'mores at the camp fire to cannonballs into the pool, the Open Hearts Camp is built for FUN! Best of all, every camper and family can attend our camp for FREE. 

The Open Hearts Camp has two main programs:

Family Camp: Three nights of all-inclusive camp fun for the whole family and a chance to meet other families who have endured the challenges of open heart surgery.

Sleep-Away Heart Camp: Twelve nights of summer fun for kids 8 - 16 years old.
