Established in 2021, the goal of The Hiding Place is to provide transitional housing and resources for survivors of domestic violence as they begin navigating their journey towards healing. Through The Hiding Place program, we provide emergency and transitional safe housing on a 40-acre safe property, a 24/7 hotline for community members to call for aid and support, counseling; including individual crisis and trauma counseling, group counseling, community support groups, resourcing for aid; including job training, case management, financial literacy classes, transportation, job placement, etc. and advocacy; including legal, medical, etc. We also have created partnerships within the community to aid our clients with other forms of services that they may require, including aid in recovery of alcohol and/or drugs, mental health, medical, parenting classes, etc. These services are provided both to our on-site clients who reside on The Hiding Place safe property and for clients we serve off-site, who have stable, safe housing.

Our Impact:

Through our no-cost program, we provide multiple individualized pathways for survivors to recover and grow, including emergency services and transitional living. Implementing our mission, our program creates safe spaces for clients to heal in all phases of their recovery and transition back into society as survivors of domestic violence. The safety of our clients is one of our top priorities. We understand that each client that participates in the program are individuals and have specific individualized needs. Through the services provided those individual needs are addressed and The Hiding Place staff is committed to seeing each client as a person, not just a number or a statistic. As we work with clients, we let them lead by empowering them to choose the services that would best fit their needs.  As we work together, advocate and client, clients are able to thrive and succeed in reaching their goals towards independency, well-being and improving their overall quality of life.

Your monetary donation is used to serve survivors of domestic violence as they begin their roads of healing.
