For six decades, the Sutton Community Home has been a valued resource in our community. When our aging citizens need assistance to ensure they continue to enjoy life with dignity, the Sutton Community Home is there. When a parent, grandparent or a loved one — someone you may know — needs assistance, the Sutton Community Home is ready to serve. There’s a chance that someday you, or someone close to you, may call on the Home in a time of need. When that time arises, our doors are open.
However, to ensure the home continues to fulfill its mission, we must make major renovations — something that we haven’t done before. Our building is very much the same today as when it opened in June 1964. The love for our residents and the care we provide remains as strong today as it was when we cut our grand opening ribbon. It is time now to give our building – our centerpiece of health care in Sutton – the attention and updates it needs.
When leaders from Sutton came around 60 years ago with the idea of building a home for everyone, the community answered the call. Today, we are steadfast in our support to continue this tradition of stewardship, and we ask you to do the same.
We know closing our doors is not an option, but we can face the challenge with energy and persistence, much like the leaders of yesteryear. That’s why we are excited to announce the kickoff of our Inspired by our Past, Building for our Future Capital Campaign. The goal of this fundraising effort is to provide the financial support we need to update our building.
