Swim for a Cause!

“Swim for a Cause” is an annual fundraising event hosted by TEAM SEA — the South Eastern Aquatics YMCA swim team based in Racine. It’s designed for swimmers to raise money for a local nonprofit by swimming laps and collecting donations or pledges.

📍 How It Works

The event will be held at the Racine Aquatic Center (e.g., Feb 1, 2026, 1 PM–~4 PM).
Participating swimmers get pledges per lap or flat donations from sponsors (friends, family, businesses) for every lap they swim.
A lap is measured at 50 yards.

TEAM SEA (South Eastern Aquatics) is a competitive swim team affiliated with the Racine Family YMCA and USA Swimming, focused on technique, fitness, and teamwork for youth swimmers.

The Sea Swim Team has a goal this year is to raise $5,000. If that goal is reached, athletes will take turns shaving Coach Neil’s hair until he’s bald!
