We are excited to introduce 2nd Mile Ministries’ first missionary, Sydney Mikkelson. Sydney has been prayerfully called to participate in a mission trip to France in July of this year, where she will have the opportunity to share the Gospel and serve alongside ministry partners.

The cost of the mission trip is $2,000, and any funds raised beyond this amount will be used to cover additional expenses that may arise while she is serving in the field.

Sydney is no stranger to missions work. Last summer, she participated in her first mission trip at Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries, an organization dedicated to providing care, hope, and healing to vulnerable children and families. Through residential programs, foster care, family support, and crisis intervention, Connie Maxwell meets physical, emotional, and relational needs within a loving, home-like environment. During her time there, Sydney had the opportunity to serve in multiple capacities, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper passion for ministry.

We are incredibly encouraged to see young people like Sydney stepping out in faith to share the Gospel and help advance the Kingdom of God.
