Emergency Kits

The scouts of Pasadena's Troop 21 have curated an Emergency Kit to help their community get and "be prepared," while raising funds for outdoor adventures.  We sincerely appreciate your support!

Kit includes OVER 80 items...

EMERGENCY ITEMS: 

CPR Face Shield (with one way valve breathing barrier) with a Simple CPR Instruction Postcard

Instant Cold Pack (single use, squeeze the center of the pack and it becomes ice cold and stays cold for about 15 minutes; apply to injury to reduce swelling, inflammation and pain)

Hand-Cranked Emergency Double LED Flashlight (with on/off switch, crank lock and a carry strap)

120 Decibel Whistle with Lanyard (pea-less, dual sound chambers, cannot be overblown; plastic, will not stick to lips; can be heard over a mile away)

Triangular Bandage with two safety pins (use for wound compression, as arm sling, cover for head dressing, support for sprains, or broken bones)

Mylar Blanket (use as windbreaker, shade, poncho, emergency shelter, ground cover, etc.)

Two Sterile “Splinter Out” Splinter Removers (non-slip grip, sterile and with a very sharp point —  it’s specifically designed for this task and is much better than needles or tweezers)

MEDICINES:

Ibuprofen 200 mg, Qty: 2 packets, 2 tablets per packet

Acetaminophen (generic Tylenol) 500 mg, Qty: 2 packets, 2 tablets per packet

Hydrocortisone 1% Maximum Strength Cream, (0.9g single use packet), Qty: 3 packets 

Antihistamine Diphen (generic Benadryl), allergy relief, Qty: 2 packets, 1 tablet per packet

WOUND CARE:

Large Sterile Non-Adherent Gauze, Qty: 4 (3"x 4”) 

Antiseptic Cleaning Towelettes, individually packaged, Qty: 20  

Triple Antibiotic Ointment, (0.9g single use packet), Qty: 6 packets

Anesthetic Cream for burns, cuts and scrapes, (0.9g single use packet), Qty: 3 packets

Large Flexible Bandages, (a.k.a. "band-aids"), Qty: 4 (2" x 4") 

Medium Bandages, (a.k.a. "band-aids"), Qty: 25 (1” x 3'') 

Unlike other small and cramped kits, our kit comes in a amply sized red draw-string bag (16"x13"), enabling you to easily add more items to suit your and your family's needs perfectly.
