As a Teaching for Black Lives study group, you are invited to attend monthly classes and workshops hosted by the Zinn Education Project.

All study group members are expected to attend at least three Teaching for Black Lives Campaign events, including the national welcoming and closing celebrations. Generally, there is one special event, workshop, class, or training per month.

All of these events are online, at 4:00 pm PT/ 7:00 pm ET, and last for 60 to 90 minutes unless otherwise noted.

ASL Interpretation will be available upon request. Please note that we need at least 4 days advance notice to book interpreters. If you are signing up for a workshop that will be held in fewer than 4 days, and you need ASL services, please email us at jsalcedo@zinnedproject.org to see if the event will be accessible.

Monday, April 28 ♦ Teaching about the Black Panther Party curriculum workshop

In this participatory workshop, educators will engage in a mixer activity in which attendees take on the role of someone who was in, or connected to, the Black Panthers. There will be time to connect with members of other study groups to discuss ways to adapt the resources.
