TAB is about changing lives. It changes lives for those who we raise money for, for those who become more educated about the present issues in our society, and for those apart of the show who gain friendships that last a lifetime. During my first TAB many years ago, I received a message that my mom had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. While getting my hair and make up done I couldn’t stop thinking about others getting messages about their sick friends and family and how their lives are forever changed. In her last few years from St. Louis MO, she cheered me on as they used to stream the Saturday night performance live. She loved to see her tomboy daughter getting dolled up to raise money for a great cause! She passed away 6 years ago, and since then I told myself I would do whatever it takes to change one persons life. No one is this world should have to suffer in pain, but if they do, I hope someone is there for them and they never feel alone.
