TAPS End of Year Fundraiser

More than a percussion festival, TAPS LA Music Festival is a home for young artists to discover their voice, form meaningful connections, and learn from world-class mentors who are deeply invested in their growth.

Founded by percussionist Ted Atkatz, TAPS was created to serve young artists and to ensure that access to high-quality percussion education is not limited by background or resources. Across our summer festival and year-round programs, students engage in masterclasses, chamber music, audition preparation, and collaborative performances that help them grow both musically and personally.

What makes TAPS special is the supportive, family-like environment our students talk about long after the seminar ends. Whether they’re preparing for auditions, exploring new creative ideas, or finding confidence in their musical identity, we aim to meet every student exactly where they are. And lift them higher.

Every contribution, large or small, directly supports students in their artistic and professional development. Your support enables TAPS to provide meaningful opportunities for young percussionists as they work toward their goals.

Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us continue this work. Together, we can ensure that TAPS remains a place where talent is developed, creativity is fostered, and students have the resources they need to succeed.
