Support the Translational Autoinflammatory Research Network (TARN)

The Autoinflammatory Alliance has been involved in the development of the Translational Autoinflammatory Research Network (TARN) since 2016 through the generous support of donors and our global patient community.

The Autoinflammatory Alliance has supported this greatly-needed and unique TARN research collaboration, publications–including the "points to consider" recommendations for treatment for a number of autoinflammatory diseases. plus 2 impactful scientific meetings with TARN. These recommendations publications have helped many patients get improved care globally, in some cases, we heard from patients having their doctor implement care recommendations within days of publication. These recommendations were developed with a global panel of top experts for each disease classification, along with patient advocates. TARN unites everyone to address the needs of patients.

We need your support to fully accomplish the goals of TARN, and  lot more funding is needed to make everything possible.  Very few projects for autoinflammatory diseases, or rare diseases in general are funded by the government, or the health care industries in the US or elsewhere. 

The quickest and most effective way to advance care and treatment at the pace needed is through private donations, so you can make a big difference! Donations of any amount will have a big impact, and have in the past. 

Research brings hope and changes lives. Your donation to this fund will help support more transformative research efforts for autoinflammatory diseases, and help more patients get the care and treatments that can greatly improve their lives.

People with Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases (SAID) will greatly benefit from the TARN network of doctors helping advance care and understanding of these diseases, and the development of improved, and SAID patient-focused clinical trial design and evaluation methods that can be used to improve clinical drug trials for new treatments for these rare diseases. 

These diseases are unique and require improved methods to better study these diseases, and understanding of the patient response to these new treatments with methods that are geared for autoinflammation and immune dysregulation.  Most current outcome measures are not geared for these rare diseases. Supporting TARN will help to accelerate improved care and better treatment for patients.

Funds donated through this special TARN fundraising pasge will be donated directly to TARN, and put to use with efficiency.  Your donation will be tax-deductible in the US through this fundraiser by the Autoinflammatory Alliance, a 501c3 US-based nonprofit organization that supports improving awareness, care, treatment and research for autoinflammatory diseases.

Our EIN is 20-4915307 and we have a gold rating on Guidestar, where we put our annual IRS 990 and other information for donors to view.
