TBRS is hard on the body and we are excited to get our bodies moving to help fund research because movement is life! And TBRS is lifelong. Our Kira was diagnosed with the rare disease Tatton-Brown Rahman Syndrome in 2017. This causes overgrowth ( Kiras taller than her Mom and has her wisdom teeth in at age 12). It also causes intellectual disability, hypermobility that causes her a lot of pain in her ankles. It affects her heart and immune system. There are approximately 300 people diagnosed with TBRS world wide. We're participating in this challenge to raise money and as always, awareness. The money donated will help fund educational videos that patients and their caregivers can present to their Doctors.
