Trinity Community Center serves an underresourced neighborhood where 35% have no high school diploma and only 12% have a college degree. Its programs and innovative learning environments like the Makerspace address the holistic development needs of students and provide support from kindergarten through college graduation. Through faith and a commitment to action, TCC touches more than 120 unique and deserving children every year, nurturing their potential and inspiring a bright future.
While parents donate $35/month for after school programming, the total cost is approximately $600/month per student. Sponsors and donors stand in the gap and make sure each student has the tools they need to succeed. TCC’s donors believe in the youth of Hollygrove and will make a direct impact in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
Trinity Community Center (TCC) was founded by Rev. William Brown in 1967 in New Orleans and is now the Hollygrove neighborhood’s safe space for children and families. TCC’s after-school programs, summer camps, internships, mentorships, and guidance on higher education are some of the ways it provides at-risk youth the tools to succeed and the capacity to become the next generation of leaders.
Sponsors can choose from monthly support, event support or annual support. Donation levels include digital recognition, event recognition, and promotional materials. Details available at www.tccno.org or through contacting [email protected].
