Emergency Ukrainian Scholarship Fund 

Recent changes in government policies have resulted in interruptions in financial assistance for Ukrainian refugee college students in our community. Marusya moved legally to the Southern Tier of NY with her mother and brother on the U4U program while her father serves on the front lines in Ukraine.  After completing both her NYS High School diploma in person and Ukrainian High School diploma online, Marusya was offered a full ride to study Math and International Relations at Syracuse University, where she has been studying since August 2024.  Because of unexpected interruptions in her financial assistance, Marusya is in danger of needing to drop out of school.  We are asking for donations to keep Marusya and other outstanding Ukrainian students like her enrolled in college until this issue is resolved.  Any unallocated donations will go into a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to other Ukrainian students impacted by the war.  Please consider donating at https://givebutter.com/TFUScholarship
