Theatre Gap Initiative (TGI) is a one-of-a-kind college prep program that helps underrepresented students access BFA Acting and Musical Theatre programs nationwide. Admission into a BFA program takes more than talent; navigating the audition process and the college admissions pipeline is full of costly barriers that often exclude underrepresented students. TGI proudly partners with Central Piedmont Community College's Levine Campus, where students are dually enrolled. This unique collaboration provides academic enrichment alongside intensive theatrical training, strengthening both college readiness and artistic development.

The Impact: 100% of TGI students have been accepted into BFA programs. Our alumni are performing, thriving in college, and returning to uplift their communities.

The Need: Each student faces a $13,200 tuition gap. Our overall goal is $26,400, and just two gifts of $13,200 will fully close the gap for both students this year. Any amount brings us closer to that goal and directly supports our students’ journeys.
