Want to nurture compassion in your kids AND help with the current crisis in India? Join us this SATURDAY, MAY 15, or SUNDAY, MAY 16, in Dunwoody, GA for a 2-hour immersive experience for all ages! Engaging activities help kids and grown-ups understand what life is like for kids growing up in extreme poverty. Follow a real family living in the slums of Kolkata through the challenges they face day to day. Choose a job, see how far your salary goes in our market, and eat or take home a simple Indian meal. Meet the founder of Tabitha’s Heart and learn that no one’s too small to make a BIG difference!

Given the current COVID crisis in Kolkata, all proceeds go to Tabitha's Heart's COVID relief efforts to help families in the communities they serve with overwhelming medical bills and funeral expenses. Many families already living on the edge are going deep into debt that will take many many years to repay just to save a loved one's life. Others are not getting care at all because they simply cannot afford it.

Can’t attend but still want to help? Click Buy Tickets/Donate and then “No thanks, I’d just like to donate.” to give to COVID relief. Or head over to the Tabitha’s Heart website to donate, learn more, or sponsor a child. www.tabithasheart.org

Note from the host: Maybe you're thinking, “How depressing! Who’d bring their kids to this?!” We get it. That’s what friends said the first time we did this! But they all had a great experience, and it made a lasting impact on their kids. It’s serious subject matter, but it’s designed to be enjoyable and educational, not traumatic.

Our family has been involved with Tabitha's Heart for many years. It's a ministry that helps children and families in the slums of Kolkata break the cycle of poverty through school sponsorship, youth mentoring, micro-enterprise training for women, and other strategic programs.

After a family trip to Kolkata to see the work, we created this event to help both kids and grown-ups understand in an engaging way the forces that keep people in poverty and the simple tools that can give them hope for a different future. The goal? Compassion that leads to action. We hope you'll join us and bring some friends!
