There Is Hope Project 2026

The THERE IS HOPE Project by A Lot of Good supports families facing challenging situations. Whether it’s a family escaping abuse, rebounding from homelessness, dealing with a family member with a serious illness or injury, or the death of a spouse with children, There Is Hope gives these families a hand up for up to three years.

Selected families receive a monthly distribution of $100 in grocery store/Target/Walmart gift cards, $100 in gasoline for their car and $100 in vouchers to shop at the A Lot of Good Thrift Store, located in Upland, CA.

There Is Hope benefits also include backpacks full of school supplies for the family children (age 19 and under) from the Annual BackPack Drive, as well as, presents for the children during the holidays from the Winter Wonderland Project.

Total support for each family will be approximately $4,000 for the first year.  

The second year, families will receive $100 in vouchers to the A Lot of Good Thrift Store and will still receive support with back to school and the Winter Wonderland Project. Benefits for second year is about $1600.

And, in the third year, families receive e $50 in vouchers to the thrift store, plus benefits from BackPack Drive and Winter Wonderland. With third year benefits of up to $1000, the total benefit to each family over the three years is up to $6,600.

There is no age or income limitation for families, just a real need for assistance to keep the family unit strong and together.

Funding for THERE IS HOPE comes from profits from the A Lot of Good Thrift Store and donations from the community.
