Love Some1 with Glut1 is the signature awareness and fundraising event for the Glut1 Deficiency Foundation, running from February 14-29 this year - Valentine's Day through Rare Disease Day ♥️

The community comes together each year during Love Some1 with Glut1 to shine a light on this rare disease and raise critical funds to help better serve the needs of patients and families through our mission programs for awareness, education, advocacy, and research.

Glut1 Deficiency is a genetic condition that impairs brain metabolism and causes a wide range of neurological symptoms because the brain doesn't get the glucose it needs to grow and function the way it should - devastating symptoms like seizures, cognitive and developmental disabilities, speech and language difficulties, episodes of temporary paralysis, migraines, difficulties with walking and balance, and more - symptoms that create a huge burden and impact on quality of life not only for patients, but also for the whole family.

This year's Love Some1 with Glut1 gives us the chance to let our love shine on those who need our help to build the brighter future they all deserve where Glut1 Deficiency will be easy to diagnose early, treat effectively, and even one day cure completely.
