As an immigrant, a former member of the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission, and one who continuously associates with other immigrants, I have come across numerous circumstances that underscore the urgent and increasing need for guardians of immigrant justice in Hawaii. May I invite you to join them by being a supporter of this virtual benefit fund drive for The Legal Clinic (TLC)? It is the mission of TLC to restore hope, dignity, and justice for low-income immigrants in Hawaii through high-quality immigration legal services, education, and advocacy. The Legal Clinic also hopes to hire a second immigration attorney in 2021 with the funds raised.
