I am a member at TLC and my name is Mike. I hope you will consider being a part of my team for our Virtual 5K. My family would say I’ve never met anyone that I don’t like. I think that is pretty true. At home, I like to help with yard work – mowing, raking, and trimming the shrubs. When I am at TLC one of my favorite things is to help with computer recycling. We take apart the computers and separate all the parts. It is really fun and I love hand tools.

I would love it if you would join my Virtual 5K team to support this great place I love coming to.

A local park, your neighborhood, someone else's neighborhood, the beach, a treadmill, wherever you can get in 3.1 miles. Time: Any time of day, morning or night, between April 23 and May 30, 2022. After registering, you will receive a link to send us the details of your race. You can choose the orange "Donate/Register" button to donate or register. If you prefer, you can build your own team or join an existing team to help us raise funds by selecting the blue "Join a Team" button located just below our logo and goal bar. Questions? Story

TLC is a nonprofit organization made up of parents, family members, educators and people from your community, dedicated to improving the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This year, TLC is close to finishing construction on the Outdoor Pavilion at the Carmen & Carlos Community Center where we house our daily programs. This is the second of four phases that will include an outdoor sportsplex and recreation area, and, in later phases, a gymnasium and residential housing. "Members" who attend TLC programs are adults who have social, emotional, physical and independence challenges. Our programs build confidence and set goals so that each individual can find a sense of belonging and value in work-like experiences.

Every day is a new day at TLC and we love helping our members to:

Strengthen their Independence, Build Friendships, Explore their World, and Grow in Faith!
