Giving Tuesday-Lucky Mama Project-Help us Fund 25 care packages for new moms!
Every mom deserves to hear “Congratulations!” — not “I’m sorry” — when she learns her baby has Down syndrome.
At The Lucky Mama Project, we exist to bring hope, celebration, and connection to new moms in Indiana who receive a prenatal or birth diagnosis of Trisomy 21. Inspired by one mother’s journey after learning her daughter Ivy had Down syndrome, our parent-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit now walks beside other families starting that same path.
When a mom receives a prenatal diagnosis, we send a care package filled with comfort, encouragement, and the reminder that she is not alone. After her baby arrives, we follow it with a beautifully curated gift box for mom and baby, created with love and intention. We celebrate every new life, connect moms with local resources, and introduce them to a community of “lucky mamas” who truly understand.
These packages do more than offer gifts—they spark hope, ease fear, and rewrite the story for families during one of the most emotional seasons of their lives.
Our Goal: Fund 25 Care Packages
We are raising funds to provide 25 complete care packages for new moms across Indiana.
Each package is a lifeline of joy, community, and reassurance—and a tangible way to tell a mom:
“Your baby is worth celebrating.”
Your support helps us:
-
Deliver prenatal encouragement to moms facing unexpected news
-
Celebrate babies with Down syndrome from the moment they arrive
-
Connect families to resources, support, and community
-
Ensure no mom walks this journey alone
You can help rewrite someone’s story.
Every donation—large or small—directly funds the next care package that lands on a mom’s doorstep at exactly the moment she needs it most.
Please help us reach our goal of supporting 25 lucky mamas and their beautiful babies.
