She is in pain. And she is still wagging her tail.

Wanda is 5 years old. A stray. Heartworm positive.

When she arrived at the shelter, she had:

• A large infected head wound

• Severe facial swelling

• A painful inner ear infection causing a head tilt

• A mast cell tumor

• Parasites

• Anemia

• And signs of previous surgical complications

The shelter didn’t have the resources for the level of care she needs.

So TLP stepped up.

She’s now on strong antibiotics, pain meds, and anti-inflammatories. She’ll need ongoing wound care, heartworm treatment, surgery to remove her tumor, and close monitoring.

Despite everything?

She greets people with a wagging tail and gentle eyes.

She deserves comfort. She deserves relief. She deserves a future.
