Our daughter Norah's school is facing some serious challenges that we need your help to address. The recent storm Helene hit our school grounds hard, damaging many trees. On top of that, Buncombe County had to cut education funding by $4.8 million due to lower tax revenue after the storm. These cuts have really impacted our school's resources and programs.
We're also dealing with some uncertainty about how the new presidential administration's policies might affect education. That's why we're reaching out to raise funds. We want to make sure our kids can keep getting a great education despite all these challenges.
But it's not all bad news! Our school has become a wonderful place for community engagement and innovative learning. Norah absolutely loves it here. She's thriving in an environment that focuses on community-related activities and teaches practical skills.
By supporting our fundraising efforts, you'll help ensure that Norah and her classmates can continue to benefit from these enriching experiences. Your contribution will make a real difference in preparing our kids for success in school and in life.
If her class meets their goal of $2,750 all the kids will get a t-shirt!
