Rosie is an extremely sweet girl, who came to us after being turned into an area shelter. Her mama was headed to an assisted living facility and couldn't take her beloved Rosie with her. Rosie had a little "hitch in her giddy-up", but she needed to lose some weight before she could be fully evaluated. She's lost 10 lbs. so far, and it turns out she has a torn ligament in one of her hind legs.

Rosie is about 12 years old, and after consulting with 3 veterinarians, including a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, it's been determined that TPLO surgery is the best option for Rosie to have the best chance at the longest and most comfortable life possible.

Rosie is scheduled to have her surgery on January 4th. Below is the estimate from our orthopedic surgeon. We're hoping you will consider making a year-end donation to help with the cost of her surgery. All donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for always caring about our rescue pups!
