🤬 Happy freaking New Year’s Eve.

These nice humans thought it was great end-of-year gift to break into our storage units and steal thousands of dollars worth of our rescue gear. From expensive night vision binoculars to catch poles and even a net. And so much more.
(Watch out folks — there’s now a wannabe ninja woman running around with a TRAPRS net. 😑)

So much of our fundraising efforts go directly to our dogs in our care, from medical bills to foster dog supplies. On top of that we have our rescue gear that we have been able to acquire over time after 6 years of being a nonprofit. Our thermal cams were even donated generously by the Austin Fire Dept years ago. These aren’t purchases that we can easily just go order again when we have constant expenses.

Theft is one thing, but stealing from animals and the people who spend their lives rescuing them is downright cruel.
