Doors at 6:20 pm! ---- Please note that the Transit Riders Union is a registered 501(c)(4) non-profit, and as such donations made directly to TRU are not tax-deductible. Information about how to make a tax-deductible donation to TRU are at the bottom of TRU's donate page on our website. --------- Livestream of speakers is only from 6:45 - 7:15 pm. Virtual Attendees will have zoom room for an informal hangout from 7:20 - 8 pm but will not have a formal program. --------- This event does not have any parking. Please plan ahead, take link, take the bus, carpool, and leave extra time to get to Columbia City!

This is a family friendly event with multiple non-alcoholic options. Youth will be prioritized for the puppet-making activity.
There is no parking.

Join us for a fantastic party on November 29, 2023!
For 11 years, TRU has been your voice fighting for working people in Seattle and King County. Building on our successful minimum wage increase for workers in 2022, we continued to organize in Tukwila in 2023. As part of the Stay Housed Stay Healthy coalition we continue to fight for new renter protections for tenants across King County.
TRU members are making change in our communities.
We are focused on access, accessibility, affordability, and accountability!
There's so much to celebrate: from our work to raise the wage, our bus rider advocacy, our Solidarity Fund, our work with the MASS Coalition, and our influential electoral endorsements!
