TSETVA's HOOVES FOR HEROES is one of the three programs we will be introducing this month, the program will serve veterans and their dependents through equine assisted therapeutic horsemanship.

Charitable donations will allow us to offer TSETVA Veterans Program services will be offered at no cost to active duty service personnel, members of the Guard or Reserve, or any veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their dependents.

TSETVA programs are individually tailored to meet the unique needs of the client. Our goal is to leverage the power of the horses to ease the participant's transition to civilian life and help them realize their potential as civic assets and community leaders.

We are also seeking grant writers and hoping for generous community support in funding this program.

Many veterans suffer in silence from the effects of trauma and the dehumanization they have witnessed in war zones. Horses are able to break the emotional barriers the soldiers have created to protect themselves. Horses respond to a human’s emotional state in an honest way, and learning how to relate to them helps veterans regain confidence and trust, and helps them to cope with emotional stress.

TSETVA is dedicated to ending horse slaughter and other forms of equine abuse, while promoting growth, collaboration and professionalism in the equine rescue and protection community.
