Keep The Spirit Horse Ranch Open For Maui

Help us keep the gates open and the healing alive.
With recent federal budget cuts and delayed grant disbursements, The Spirit Horse Ranch which has been boots on the ground since day one is facing the heartbreaking reality of possibly turning away youth and families who are in crisis. There is no price we can place on a human life, on healing, or on the safety of a child or adult who finally feels seen, supported, and held. What happens here is not simply a service. It is a lifeline one that our community depends on every single day.

The need on Maui has not slowed down. Since the wildfires alone, The Spirit Horse Ranch has provided more than 3,800 trauma-informed equine-assisted sessions, helping children, individuals, families, and first responders move from crisis to calm, from fear to regulation, and from isolation back into connection. Healing our community one heart at a time.

Our horses, the ones who carry so much of our community’s pain, healing, hopes and help create moments of safety and joy, are now at severe risk. They need special attention that keeps them comfortable and healthy. These essential costs now rise above $6,500 every month, even before shoeing, vaccines, or basic care for sixteen extraordinary sentient beings who give their hearts to hold space for human healing.

Right now, we need our community to stand with us. Your Giving Tuesday support on or before December 2 will help keep our gates open, care for our horses, and keep our amazing team working so that no child or individual in crisis has to hear the word no and no horse who selflessly heals others is left without the care they deserve.
