PTO Winter Fundraising 2025

The Fairbanks Middle & High School Parent Teacher Organization is created and sustained by the Fairbanks Local Schools’ community including, Parents/Guardians and FMS/FHS Teachers, Staff, and Administration with the shared purpose to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Fairbanks Middle & High Schools. Our mission is to complement and enhance the district’s mission and schools’ curricula with additional opportunities for the FMHS-PTO community to unify, motivate, inspire, learn, socialize, communicate, and grow. All members strive to be models of good character upholding the vision of the schools’ core values and communicating this vision through positive interactions.

Each year our organization depends on donations and fundraising efforts to allow us to support many programs throughout the year without having to solicit donations for every event. Typical funding in a year includes:

• Grade level incentive parties or special programs

• Donut Day Welcome back to School

• Portable PA System purchase in 2024 for HS

• Excellence in Testing Banners in the MS

• Meals during Parent / Teacher Conferences in October & February & Staff Appreciation in May

• Busing to Incentive & Field Trips

• Special awards and incentives for Students of the Month and Honor Roll including ice cream treats & pizza lunches

• Popcorn or other Panther Pause treats, Inflatable fun and other special rewards

• Testing support and incentives
