AnkhLave Arts Residency on Governors Island
We Need Your Support to Sustain Our Mission in 2025
This year, despite our best efforts, we did not receive funding for our 2025 programming, and we are reaching out to our community to help us recoup essential expenses from this year’s Art Residency on Governors Island.
This residency provides free art studio space to NYC-based BIPOC artists who are carrying forward the legacy of their Indigenous heritage from beyond the U.S.. It's a space for healing, creation, and community—where underrepresented voices can thrive and be heard.
Your support is more critical than ever to ensure we can continue this work.
Your donation will help us:
-
Cover costs from our 2024 programming that were not funded
-
Maintain our commitment to free, accessible space for artists
-
Continue building a platform that centers African and Indigenous narratives
If you believe in the power of art, cultural preservation, and equity, please consider donating today.
💛 Help us keep this vital space alive for 2025 and beyond.
