Join us for Community Council

We’re excited to welcome Jen Mock, Director of College & Career Readiness at Alamance Community College, to our January Community Council meeting! Jen will share how ACC’s Adult Education programs help young people and adults alike gain the skills and resources they need to thrive. These programs align with United Way’s impact areas of Youth Opportunity and Financial Security, helping young people build pathways to college and careers while giving adults access to education and training for good-paying, sustainable jobs.

We look forward to seeing you on January 8, 2026, and hope you’ll join the conversation about how these opportunities are making a real difference in our community!

Directions to A Building once on ACC- Main Campus:

Use entrance 1 and go down the hill to the back lot. Park in the H-2 area for the closest parking, as the meeting space is in A Building (2 on the map). The quickest way in is to walk up the service drive and take the stairs to your left. The rooms will be on the left side of the hallway when you enter that way.

The most accessible way if you're trying to avoid hills and uneven terrain would likely be to park in front of lots of Main Campus, make your way into Main Building (1 on the map), and navigate to A building once you get inside. The space we are using is on the 2nd floor and the elevator is just past the front desk. The front desk staff will be happy to help point you in the right direction if you come in that way and have trouble with the map.
