Do you hear that? It’s the sound of Tulsa’s future.
The Tulsa Youth Symphony has been a vital part of northeast Oklahoma’s educational and artistic community, serving thousands of young musicians over the last 60 years. What began, in 1963, as one orchestra of high school musicians has grown into three ensembles serving over 200 students grades 4 through 12 and multiple other programs. Our mission to provide advanced musical training and performance opportunities has contributed to the critical intellectual and emotional growth of our members, as we nurture talent, encourage curiosity and expression, and instill leadership and teamwork skills.
In the midst of dwindling public education music offerings and as we better understand the after-effects of a global pandemic on our youth, there has never been a better time to support the Tulsa Youth Symphony. The students we serve need the opportunity to be a part of a community where they can find their voice, express themselves, and build confidence. With your help, the Tulsa Youth Symphony will continue to thrive and produce outstanding young musicians and community members.
Please consider a show of support for our work in the form of a tax-deductible donation to ensure TYS may continue to foster unity through music for years to come. Thank you!
