Established to honor Carolyn Tarzia, a Master Teacher and Friend of the Pioneer Orchestra Program, the Carolyn Tarzia Private Lesson Fund provides a source of financial support for Pioneer Orchestra students to further their musical studies with private lessons from qualified string teachers in the Ann Arbor area.

Recipients demonstrate some of the same personal qualities that Carolyn Tarzia has exhibited throughout her lifetime:
