About BreatheStrong CF:

BreatheStrong CF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals affected by cystic fibrosis. BreatheStrong CF’s mission is to advance the physical and mental wellness of people with cystic fibrosis through education, direct support, and empowering opportunities. We envision a new era in which people with cystic fibrosis are empowered to live above and beyond perceived limitations. This is accomplished through advocacy, community engagement, and fundraising initiatives.

Among our initiatives, we provide direct support to people living with CF and their families through the following programs:

Exercise Grants - Our exercise grants encourage people with cystic fibrosis to engage in activities that physically challenge the body and the lungs. Applications are accepted year-round and directly fund the physical activity of the recipient’s choice up to $750.

Susan C. Burroughs Critical Needs Initiative - For CF patients in Georgia experiencing financial hardship, the CNI grant may be able to help ease the financial burden of groceries and fuel. Managing CF requires adequate nutrition and care by a specialized team in clinics that may be at a significant distance from home.

Loretta Morris Memorial Fund - Preference for Loretta Morris Memorial Grants is California Residents. Loretta Morris Fund Grant requests support swimming, horseback riding, dance and golf. These grant requests are reviewed upon receipt and do not have a deadline.
