Join NeighborUp for Our Annual Golf Tournament

NeighborUp (merger of Dorcas Ministries and Western Wake Crisis Ministry) invites you to hit the links and help raise support for neighbors facing financial hardship.

Our annual golf tournament will be held at MacGregor Country Club on Monday, March 16, 2026. Gather your friends and register for a foursome or sign up as an individual player. However you participate, you’ll enjoy a day of golf, fun, fellowship, and purpose.

Registration includes a boxed lunch and an evening barbecue dinner reception.

This year, we have an ambitious goal to raise $75,000. Proceeds benefit our mission to provide food and financial assistance to families and individuals in need. Every putt, chip, and long drive makes a difference! So, grab your clubs, purchase an extra mulligan or two, and help us offer our neighbors help for today and hope for tomorrow.

Impact Story

Susan* had been working as a home-health aide when a mental health episode turned her life upside down. The crisis led to the loss of both her home and her car. With no income and nowhere to live, she needed a way forward.

NeighborUp stepped in to provide rental assistance, ensuring Susan could remain safely housed while she focused on her recovery and finding a job. Determined to rebuild, Susan rented a room from a private landlord and started treatment. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support.

Susan’s story is a powerful reminder of how a hand-up during a crisis can help neighbors overcome hardship and continue their journey to stability.
