Temple Menorah Chanukah Virtual 8K
Thursday 2:23 PM - Saturday 2:23 PM PST
From December 10th to 18th, get outside and run, walk (or ride) 8 kilometers (5 miles) to support your Temple Menorah community! Make sure to share photos and videos using the hashtag #TempleMenorah8k. You can join as an individual, family, or group, and then build your team.
Story
Temple Menorah’s Chanukah Virtual 8K is a community-wide fundraiser celebrating the 8-day Festival of Lights. To stay safe, the event will take place VIRTUALLY from Thursday, December 10th through Friday, December 18th.
We encourage you to register today to participate in the 8K, and then start building your team on the Leaderboard. Next, share with your friends and family to support your team with donations. All proceeds will benefit the programs and initiatives that generate extraordinary momentum at Temple Menorah.
Virtual Run Details: Anyone, anywhere, can register to participate! There is no official route... you get to choose your own 8K route and start time. Please take photos and videos of your 8k, and share them on social media with the hashtag #TEMPLEMENORAH8K.
Participating in the 8K will help connect you to other runners and walkers in our community, and serve as motivation to stay active and healthy and SAFE during the holiday season, all while supporting Temple Menorah.

$30 = Youth (up to age 12)
$40 = Adult (13+)

-Who can participate? Anyone! TM members, family and friends of members, anywhere in the world!
-How can I get my SWAG? Bags will be available for pick up, or we can coordinate a drop-off.
-Is there an actual 8K course? You get to choose your own course and start time!
-Does my time running or walking 8K matter? We will not be tracking your time. You can walk your 8K, or you can train to beat your previous 8k time. It's up to you! Have fun, and stay active!
-What does the winning team get? The team who raises the most on the Leaderboard will receive a prize!
