For nearly 20 years Brother Damien Lunders SVD has been changing the lives of HIV/AIDS-afflicted adults and teenagers and impoverished children at the Mother of Perpetual Help Center in northern Thailand.

The Help Center consists of the Villa Marie Hospice for adults with HIV/AIDS and Ban Mae Marie (Mother Mary House) for teens with HIV. The Center also spearheads an AIDS education campaign in nearby schools to reduce the number of cases.

In addition, the Center helps children of disadvantaged or AIDS-infected parents with food, clothing and school supplies.
