Historically, each year the PTAs and HSAs partner with school social workers and the Parenting Center to provide Thanksgiving meals for food insecure families in our elementary and middle schools. This year, Achieve is helping out by serving as a central location for fund collection.
Please consider donating any amount to help our friends and neighbors this holiday season. Any support helps and is gratefully appreciated, but please donate by Sunday 11/20.
Gift cards to Stop & Shop, Target, Trader Joe's or Walmart would also be graciously accepted. Please drop them at your school's main office by Tuesday 11/22 so they can be distributed before the holiday.
* Note: any funds raised in excess of Thanksgiving gift card needs will be used to help food insecure families in the South Orange-Maplewood School District over the holidays/winter break.
Achieve, a registered 501(c)3 organization, is the education foundation for the School District of South Orange & Maplewood and serves as the fundraising arm for the district.
